What is Conscious Connected Breathing?
Conscious connected breathing is an ancient breathing practice that focuses on liberating rather than controlling the breath.
It involves a specific pattern of breathing where the inhale is active and expanded and the exhale is passive and soft. It is a connected circular rhythm that creates a temporary change in our physiology and chemistry. This change allows our bodymind system to release and integrate suppressed memories and past trauma, including subconscious physical and mental patterns of tension.
Conscious connected breathing, guided by a certified breathwork practitioner, offers a powerful space for us to step out of the mental noise and reconnect with ourselves. Through this unique breathing practice, many experience reduced stress and anxiety, emotional release and a deeper sense of clarity and insight.
It supports personal growth, helps re-pattern our breathing mechanism back to its natural most optimal state and invites a calm yet energised experience of being. For those navigating high-pressure environments, it increases our capacity to hold and stay grounded in intensity, tap into our inner resources and ultimately enhance our wellbeing, resilience and capacity for presence.
By breathing in this way we are tapping into our body’s innate healing intelligence.
