Inventures in the City are a space to step away from the noise, slow down, and immerse yourself in something unexpected. No phones. No watches. No distractions. Just you, a moment of space, and the incredible people of this city.
What is an Inventure in the City?
Inventure in the City is a gentle, creative, tech-free space to slow down and remember our most natural state of being.
For one day, we unplug from our devices and the demands of time. There’s no schedule, no pressure, no outcome. Just you, delicious Bean There coffee to accompany a decadent slice of cheesecake or carrot cake (for purchase), and the freedom to let your day unfold.
What to expect
Bring something you love to do (your book, sketchpad, knitting, colouring, backgammon, cards or a puzzle). Or bring nothing at all. Simply be.
Your phone and watch will be safely and securely tucked away when you arrive. You’ll be greeted with a freshly brewed Bean There coffee and invited into a space of presence, creativity and connection.
Come alone or with others. You are welcome to be in your own world or share in quiet connection with those around you.
