Coaching That Changed Everything

It is with great pride and joy to give reflections on my journey with Julie Robinson of Inventure. Working as Chief Executive Officer of a public institution comes with many challenges and expectations. These range from managing operations, constant interaction with your board and parliament, managing societal expectations, limited financial resources and broader stakeholder management.

Decades of corporate experience do not prepare you adequately for the challenge ahead.

Working with Julie was a game-changer for me. Within a period of 6 months, I was better able to look at problems in different ways, thus finding very meaningful and sustainable solutions. Julie used a combination of insight, patience and deep provocation aimed at self-introspection to guide me through the coaching journey. The strategies were simple, actionable and designed to my specific needs. Critically important was that no subject was off limits – family life, working life, social life and many others.

In just a few short months of working with Julie, I can attest to realising exponential internal growth. I have been able to achieve challenging career objectives, improve personal and professional relationships, and found greater balance in my life and inner peace. And it comes down to a simple philosophy – the choices we make in our lives, even seemingly minor decisions, can have significant consequences, leading to diverging paths and experiences. Therefore, take time to consider those choices properly.

Julie has really assisted me lay a foundation for future choices and helped me balance the different aspects of my life. It is one of the greatest transformation journeys I have embarked upon.
